Well, when I buy dried pit in little apricots from the Indian grocery store, the pits sprout, and I have to assume those are as dry as anything else so sold. So, yes, assuming the things haven't been blanched, they might very well sprout.
I would point out however, that, given the greater protection it would afford, if the company sells dried apricots of the type with the pits still in them, it might be a better move to buy those rather than pre-cracked pits to cut down on losses due to chipped ones. I crack mine before planting, but it is JUST before and even then I lose around half the seed.

Thank you! I think they only sell them separately. I never thought about them being blanched, will phone tomorrow and see what they say. With the exchange rate and shipping they're not exactly cheap. But if even 2 or 3 sprout it will be worth it.

Bah. They say they are raw but have been treated in some way to ensure they won't sprout. Thanks for the heads up about that.
