Hi everybody. We had such a mild winter a bunch of stuff survived for seed saving. I have Red Russian and Siberian kale (will save mixed), tatsoi, arugula and spinach. I think they can all be saved without isolation. They are coming on nicely but my squash are ready to plant there and my sweet potatoes arrived today so now I am in a pickle about these beds. The brassicas have pods but they aren't mature yet. The spinach is huge and everywhere. I think I might just have to till around some selected plants, plastic and plant around them.

I solved most of this problem. My old field has become such a mess I made a spot for squash at home so only sweet potatoes will be planted over there. Now the seed crop can be left a bit more. The spinach takes a bit. Tatsoi looks close to being ready.
