The Romanesco I've seen is generally more regular than those, very beautiful and tasty.

Yes, those examples look like they have some purple sprouting broccoli genetics mixed in. Strange how the florets vary in appearance based on location in the head. Maybe the purple coloring comes in with maturity. Those aren't typical in my experience either.

Hey I got the green with the purple on the very top. I thought it was cute! And it was yummy, but very very late.

I will try a romanesco x violet or purple cross if my plants survive and make blooms next year. So many mutant recessive traits don't survive the cross. A purple/green normal cauliflower would be pretty too.
