My parents grow a lot of cyclamen to sell and give them a bit of pocket money. I love all the colours they come in, they are my favourite winter flower. A few years ago ones with a 'pinwheel' form of flower started appearing and it was not until I got in touch with the cyclamen society for a name that I found that we have a mutant type and they had never seen them before. I will have to do some hand pollinating with some of the other colours we have to get more in this type. We only have a couple of shades of pink of these at the moment.

Pretty! Some have a wonderful fragrance too, but the quality seems largely lost from a lot of the commercial lines sold these days.
