My name is Zach and my home is the tristate of DE, MD, and PA, particularly Chester county Pennsylvania. I am interested in wild lands tending and plant rewilding -- gathering seeds of native plants especially and sowing them in wild spaces either to boost populations or to (re)introduce into the seedbank. I work with a lot of spring ephemerals like this, especially ramps, Virginia bluebells, trillium, woodland phlox, twinleaf, etc. I like to work with seed because it is cheaper, easier, more effective, and result in more resilient and adaptable populations than nursery propagated plugs. And I love diversity of all kinds, genetic or otherwise. I like to focus in particular on "human habitat plants," in other words those with edible/medicinal value to our own species. This includes chestnuts, oaks, fruits like persimmon and pawpaw, true lilies, edible starchy geophytes, etc. I love being with the plants and learning from them.

Welcome to the club Zach. Very interested to see the progression of your woodland projects. I'm staying at my son's house which has a large backyard of decidious weed trees.
I've been looking into ramps, bluebells and trilium for our backyard. I do like your idea of using seed derived plants.
