I imagine that it is only a matter of time before someone uses some of his produce to try and do the college prank I heard about (The one where you take a leek, put it in a (presumably non functional) gas pipe) then call up the gas company and tell them "There's a huge leek in the pipes!"

Yes, but how long does it last? . At 21+ pounds, it'd better be a crowd you're feeding , or a recipe that freezes/cans well! Who was it who said a definition of eternity was two people and a ham? This leek could be a worthy side...

If you like leeks for there white stem there was not a lot in proportion to over all size of the size plant, but then again its mainly been competitively grown
