While I think it's clearly a well-thought-out piece of persuasion/marketing, I'm very impressed by the scope and rationality of it. Not a salt-water guy myself; as a zoologist, I think I get the concept; makes sense to me. May they prosper to the benefit of us all.

The thing is, this guy, apparently something of an autodidact, has pulled together so many threads by devoting himself to networking with like-minded others and doing research; his/their results are not less than inspiring. As I've posted, that's not my immediate environment, but the general form of the construct works for me. We live not only in a linear, horizontal environment, but within a spherical ecosystem, connected to us in ALL directions.
