While not in the pear trees, there was a partridge in the lilac, could have been in the pears too, not in my line of sight from the house, grin. Merry Christmas to all. One french hen in the barn, and three roosters Mille Fleurs, so 'french' , right, grin.... Many mourning doves at the bird feeders, not turtle doves, but they'll do. 4 chicadees, Dee Dee, Dee Deee, see, calling birds Merry Christmas everybody.

Merry Christmas, or whatever holiday is your thing, at the very least it's time to celebrate that the equinox has happened and we are on the upswing again.

Yes its that time of year when that word 'merry' is wished on others, as its never used any other time of the year i choose to say 'have a lovely christmas instead, so, have a lovely christmas everyone, and hey, no getting pissed and arguing with that relate that ya cant stand that you have to put up with once a year.

I like the word merry, it seems such a cheerful, happy, social word, it's curious it isn't used more. Old fashioned maybe.
