I love all things green, but especially all of the plants I have found growing in TN

I am trying to locate anyone who has grown white blackberries successfully and how to do it. A few years ago I found four white blackberry plants completely surrounded by some regular blackberries. I brought home some of the fruit but didn't know the first thing about how to grow them from seed so was unsuccessful. Also, is there anywhere I can buy the already rooted plants, outside of the place in CA that only sells locally and their plants are infected with Raspberry bushy dwarf virus (RBDV). I'd rather have virus free plants. The plants I found were in SW NC and I don't have access to the property any longer so would love to find a source to buy the plants. Thanking all in advance, Marie in TN

You have a rarity there. As far as I know, no variety of white blackberry is commercially available now. The USDA has at least one accession. Luthur Burbank produced several off-white types before finally getting one that was truly white. The flavor and yield were reported not to be particularly good, which is probably why it is so uncommon now.
Too bad the seed didn't germinate. Burbank's was apparently true from seed, something pretty unusually for blackberries.

The one time I went to Burbank's home in Santa Rosa was late in the year, so there was hardly any trace of berries on his white blackberry plants; if I get back, I'll bear this in mind, for us both.

As I posted, if I get back there, I'll try to get seed for us both; whether that will be virus-free, I've no idea; in any event, circumstances permitting, I'll try to get seed to plant and to send, if you wish.
