It's spring and I'm having tool envy. Has anyone here had experience with the Valley Oaks Wheel Hoe? I like how well made it appears and the quick change attachments. We currently have an old wheel hoe, possibly a Hoss, that we got used. The handles are crappy and the attachments come loose all the time. I would like a furrower and am wondering if the Valley Oaks 4-tine cultivator works well in heavy soil for breaking up root clumps and soil clods? We have another wheel hoe that is an all metal antique that we rigged up with a 10" stirrup hoe about 30 years ago. The blade is nearly worn through and the whole contraption leaves much to be desired. I'm hoping to get one nice tool to replace the 2 substandard ones currently in our shed.
