Anyone growing this? I have a few different types: a generic "herb" version I brought from a local garden centre; tanna - a dark red flowered version pink tanna - a pink flowered version
I'm not wild about the taste (cucumberish) but its perennial and attractive and I reckon it should probably be more widely grown. I could definitely see a place for it in "edible landscaping" type situations or as a way of eeking a bit more food out of a flower bed. I'm gonna see if I can get seed from one of the ornamental forms (probably the bigger leaved one!) and see if I can't grow out a few plants next year to dot about the place.

I grew it many years ago as an add to salads. Flowers were on the darker end of the spectrum. It self-seeded around the garden all on its own (a lot like borage!)
