Hi all.
Last fall, as part of my desperation to find suitable material for my corn project, I wound up purchasing a fairly large amount (for me) of Earth Tone corn (as well as a similar amount of Oaxacan Green Dent*, MUCH more than I need (plus, with the exception of the ears I bought each bunch for, not being right for my mix). So I have been toying with the idea of breaking the leftovers into small packets and trying to see if any of them will sell in my ebay store (I keep trying to find something that will sell besides books)
My issue is this, while breaking up the ears, I found a small number of kernels (about 5) which were white, magenta, and purple, colors I am fairly sure are NOT supposed to be in Earthtones (as far as I can tell all kernels in Earth Tones have a triple yellow endosperm base, so all colors should be shades of that.
Am I wrong and there is some white base in Earth Tones, or am I right and is is best to not sell seed from those ears (I've had some nasty experiences with buyers who reserved feedback until the crops were grown and harvested, and then complained the seed was not perfectly true to type.)

Never dealt with Earth Tones, so I can't say for sure...but it doesn't sound completely pure to me,

I was just given some Earth Tones. I guess most people grow it for decor. I'm wondering how it tastes.

Cobs were difficult to shell. Flavor of porridge was bland to veggie.
