I have the catalog from, can not remember the name but well known onion specialist and do not want to go digging for it, a onion specialist garden shop. After the bizarre onion failure I had buying from the largest garden shop here and not overly impressed with the onion I got from the above onion seller are there any other online onion specialists that some of you have had good luck with or have varieties other than the same old, same old. I do not often buy onions on line but as next year is, because legal problems have been flushed down the toilet, like a new breath of fresh air, I want to try some new greenhouses if there are any. I like strong sharp onions which are few and usually the same variety.

Inasmuch as Dixondale is the best source of onion plants, the only thing possibly better is to start your own. That's what I do with most varieties but also can get Dixondale plants locally.

Interesting to note that everything offered by Territorial is identical to Dixondale. You can take a safe bet that they come via Texas to Oregon first.
