Figured it'd be fun to have a thread where you can post any garden/farming/vegetable funnies you discover in your travels. I stumbled across these from an old newspaper today: The Daily Times, New Philadelphia, Ohio, April 23, 1924 The Daily Times, New Philadelphia, Ohio, April 7, 1924 The Daily Times, New Philadelphia, Ohio, March 11, 1924

richardw: what do kiwis think of that "decktater"?
Gardeners always do it in the dirt; often with hoes.

'Tractor counterweight' is good work if you can find it.

'Tractor counterweight' is good work if you can find it. Just be careful the gig doesn't turn into a fender bender!

Feral hogs aren't funny. OK, drunk ones might be. Here in KS, central USA, they are a problem. Fort Riley got orders to get rid of them on the fort grounds, which are large for field training. In nearly 10 years, they haven't managed to get rid of them. And the hogs aren't even shooting back.

They are a real pest and environmental problem here too, but sometimes you have to laugh
