I have a fella next door who is one of those flat earth believers, but i reckon ive just about got him won over with this eclipse, as i said to him, here in New Zealand the moon was setting in the SW as it was reaching full eclipse, while in western Europe it had only just risen, that can only happen with a round earth, also the curvature of earth was clearly seen on the surface of the moon at the half way point of the eclipse.

Oh, wonderful! I'm very envious; we were in exactly the right spot to not be able to see any of it. I thought the eclipse for you in the Americas would have happened while the moon was on the opposite side of earth. |

Yes, exactly, that's why we didn't see any of it.

Side tangent of universal theories. I'm a black holer, as in we are inside a black hole but cannot tell that from inside it, and will never be able to have a view point from outside, for we will always be inside the horizon line. As in all alien planets are inside a black hole. That every instant of your reality is a singularity within the soul system, that we are in fact the centered around black holes. And that quite possibly we arrange variable chaos into order. That if the universe is swallowed up entirely by black holes, from an outside view point of view, the universe is dead, but inside the horizon line all life lives. So it really an anti depressant theory of what you think would destroy the universe, in actuality is the center of all life. But I'm not to worried if the theory is right or not. * I guess in a way I think that the equation that holds life together may be the most powerful in all the universe, but we may never fully understand that, how it's all held together. Star Wars is big into this type of theory claimed as the "force"
