Luffa

First harvest of Luffa Gourds.
Direct sown and no protection.
We had the first frost last night so I picked them. Luckily the seeds are ripe.
One fruit I picked earlier had a light sweet taste like melons.
These on the picture are of bland taste.

sad news, the seeds were too unripe. maybe 1 or 2 have a chance to ripen somehow. only the fruit with the sweet fruit flesh could still succeed. fingers crossed.
