Hey, y'all,
Is anyone growing Goldini Zucchini? I will gladly buy seeds from you.
(I have scoured the internet and it looks like Carol Deppe is the only source of the seed at the moment, and as far as I can tell, she has disappeared shortly after she last updated her website in early 2019. I ordered seed from her for the past two years and received nothing, and attempts to communicate via email were unsuccessful.)
Thanks,
Emily

I also am interested.
I know some health issues cropped up at one point and she had quite a backlog at one point and her website got hacked but then was back up.
She has been more active on the OSSI forum more recently. Try asking this question on that forum as well.

Good to see you posting again, squishysquashy ! Hope all is well with your enterprise! Unfortunately, lots of folks have had issues getting seeds from Carol and it sounds complicated. You may be able to locate someone growing the line who has saved seed, but these seem remarkably difficult to source (and you are not the only person looking for it).
Hopefully you will be successful and then share them further so they aren't lost!

I don't know anyone who has Goldini. I ordered from Carol a couple of years ago but received no seeds and no reply. I think we could all try to develop a similar one - She describes how she developed it here: osseeds.org/goldini-zucchini/Seeds of the two original parents should still be available. I already have seeds of Costata Romanesco and will just have to buy Gold Rush hybrid zucchini (Seminis). Diane Whitehead

Hi Folks, I have Goldini seeds, which I've grown out this summer from two separate sources on opposite coasts. I'm drying down the first batch right now. I'll have everything listed in my website in the next few weeks, but if you want to send me a PM I can get in touch when things are ready to go.

Did anyone get seed for this?
Any of our Canadian members growing it out?
I would like some seed if/when it ever becomes available. I'm toying with the idea of setting up a seed shop for OSSI varieties since we are running into the problem of OSSI varieties going extinct and having no backup genebank. This might be the perfect variety to start with. I'm thinking I may want to do it for all of the OSSI varieties eventually. Sounds a bit daunting, but I think if I organize myself more it might be possible.

I have Goldini seeds available, if you’re still looking for them. Anyone interested in swapping seeds? I have quite a bit of seed varieties (1000+ tomato, 200-300 pepper, 70-80 bean, 30-35 sunflower, 12+ cucumber, 30-40 corn, 12+ watermelon, lots of flowers, some native and some tree seed, too). All of the seed is vegan organically grown, heirloom/O-P and zero pesticides/herbicides. Thanks. Positive Vibrations…
