We have had a lot of rain but a defisciency in hot.
The squash in fullground have yellow leafs.
It may the stress of the transplantation with the cold and the rain of mai.I have put in full ground the firsts squashs the 10th may (germination 15th march) it early for a transplantation but they was in pot of 2,5 liter and the roots exited largely of pots.
I would did a rempoting in a pot of 3 liter but i was not found the time.They will restart when we will have heat!
The wheat has 5 days of late compared at the normal of the season in france.

frost warning for tonight. was hoping we were past that but gladly we have not yet planted out our warm weather starts yet as i did not trust things the way the weather was being so strange.
the two plants i am most worried about i put buckets over so i hope they'll be protected. we'll see what happens...

we've again missed out on the forecast rains (they went south and north of us). this morning was foggy, but that has gone now so the rest of the day will be cloudy and get up to about 81F. starting this weekend we're back to hot with at least five days forecast to hit 90F or greater. no rain in the forecast until next Monday and Tuesday, but as usual i won't believe it until i see it hit the ground.

all of the storms keep missing us. we're so dry in our yard that the grass is already going dormant. temperatures have been in the high 80sF and sometimes into the low 90sF. we do have a well so i can water the gardens and get the sprouts going but a few good rains are sorely needed. some days just a half mile down the road there have been puddles along the road from rains, just missed us... that's how it goes here sometimes. i've seen this sort of weather pattern for years and years. however, not so dry that the large drainage ditch out back is almost run dry - especially this early in the season... next week we finally have a forecast of some days down into the high 70sF. the beans i planted early hoping to give them some cooler weather to start with have certainly not gotten that this year at all. it went from frosts to hot and then back to frosts and then hot again without much in between.

that is about what we've been getting here too. this next week we have three cooler days in the forecast which will be a nice change of pace. nothing higher than 83F and three days in the mid 70sF (about 24C). the really nice thing is that we finally did get a few rains. we can use some more yet, but still it is nice to have to not go out and water.

our weather has been bouncing around like that too. we have warm todays for the next few and then back to more moderate temperatures for a few and then probably back to hot again.
