i think if you leave that pot outside for the winter you may find some sprouts next spring.

It That i want do! The problemes i have met are the fly of the seedling and a too low humidity at the germination.

Here in British Columbia Canada I went the easy route and just planted the Albion everbearing strawberry runners and traded some to a neighbour for her variety too. I have 50 planted in hanging baskets for 2022 season to see if they outproduce the ones on the ground where our wet climate sees a lot of slug damage and mildew issues . I was thinking of hanging them in my new to me greenhouse that is 20 x 30 that I erected on a flat sand court that was built by a previous owner for volleyball but has water piped to it and an outhouse since it is an uphill hike to the house . The location is not my sunniest or most convenient but less likely to be blown away in a storm and I live in a very hilly region so flat ground is a premium and we were not using that space .

i hope that works out. i've found that production and sunlight go pretty closely together.

I want grow stolon of strawberry of white strawberry the next year
For the everbearing i have more the impression that the temperature are more important. They slow their production during the heatwaves periods for our climate. I have see that my strawberry plants did flowers while we are soon in december. A few fruits are in formation but it look get fat slowly.

my experience with everbearing is similar. if it gets too hot it is better if they don't even try to fruit. right now i have mixed two varieties together and they are crowded so they need to be thinned and replanted. next spring i hope i can get that done.

Last year I harvested strawberry seeds from cultivated varieties and sowed them. The seedlings look different from the parents, they are more branched and make many layers. I am curious to see what the fruits are like. Cross-pollination with wild European strawberries is possible, I even hope that this has happened. But I don't know if the two species are compatible. It turns out that these seedlings are Duchesnea indica. Honestly, I have no idea where they come from.... But there is no doubt. I have to start from the beginning again....
