This year newbies will be:
MonDak Gold -- fron Carter Farms Sunrise Gold and Jelly Potato -- from Irish Eyes Soraya -- from Maine Potato Lady
Had a large amount of carry overs from last year I planted, including one I saved on purpose:
Sapiro Mira potatoes -- I got from Seed Savers Exchange last year.
Potatoes are 90 percent up already and appear to be doing very well.

Potatoes in the North garden are doing very well.
Colorado Potato Beetles have devestated the South Garden; turkeys which are another gaden vermin (destroyed my corn plots by stomping on young plants) last year ate the beetles that showed up. This year they did not show up after stomping on my corn; I have spent 4 days squishing beetles between my fingers, literally dozens each time.
I do not like poisoning bugs but I will have to get some thing for that next year.

I also had Jelly potatoes up North and all did very, very well but down South the CPB wreaked haveo along with the extreme drought so ut of two gardens I got a little over two bushels. Smaller size down South but still a nice crop. Fair number of large French Fry and baking size up North with all varietie producing big onex up North.
