I want to play with Alan corn, but I would like the smallest plant possible. What is the smallest plant of sweet corn you ever saw? The shorter the better. Dwarf would be great.

Blue Jade and Black Mexican are both very dimunitive, also there was a local heirloom called Millersburg Red in the mix which is a pretty small type. Blue Jade is the smallest I have ever seen, it can actually be grown in pots, I've had two stalks to a 3 gallon nursery container a few years ago which produced well. The taste in the small varieties may be a bit lacking due to a smaller surface area for photsynthesis but Blue Jade is not a bad corn at all. If your looking for it for breeding stock I believe that SSE still carries it though I'm not sure.

Small and white, hmmm, that's a hard one friend. Does it need to be OP or can it be a hybrid? Either way it's a long shot because most white varieties are late season and huge, though I'm sure I can stumble upon something for you. I'll look around and let you know.

I'like an SE hybrid (homozygous) if possible. I would like a small very sweet corn. Are the dwarf genes dominant?

Here is what I have if you are interested.
Its called Baby Orchard. Its a sweet corn. It grows 2.5 feet to 3 feet tall. I dint know the meters. Maybe a meter?
The ears are of course small. Its not the most practical of foods to eat. But my little one loves it. She can do her own harvesting of corn.
Its a yellow corn.

Mike, I saved all the corn from small ears this year - from Astronomy Domine, and from a mass cross of Rainbow Inca/Silver Queen/Stowell's Evergreen. Want it all?
