Gosh, my 3 greenhouses which are 6x8ft are just tiny by comparison! Very envious indeed.
Nice strong and healthy looking seedlings too. What did you wintersow?

thanks for all the comments all!
yup blue, we finally got it repaired. ed and friends rebent all the frame pipe. they're not perfect, but they'll do the job. we got a deal on the heavy sheets of plastic instead of the plastic film. and ed finagled wood strips between the pipe and plastic to connect the two. it still leaks, but hey, the plants need water, right?! i just have to watch where i put them! ;D and the front and back are hanging on by a thread, waiting to be repaired come fall...but she's up and running!
galina...i've never really been into flowers and i'm experimenting with lots of flowers, a lot edible, this year, and herbs. (ed loves the poppies.) here are some i've winter sown this year...(should have lots of seed this fall for trade!)...
kiss me over the garden gate
agastache 'heather queen'
columbine 'miss m i huish
love in a mist 'persian jewels'
standing cypress garden
heliotrope columbine 'crimson star'
sweet william 'holborn glory
forget me not blue
benary's giant mix zinnia
hollyhock 'peaches and creaam'
wildflower mix
old fashioned mix
tall double mix sweet william
sweet william mix
shasta alaska daisy
aster 'crego mix'
baby's breath ;covent garden'
poppies...black peony
ladybird
lauren's grape
danish flag
rosa romantica
persian poppy
cal. 'bridal bouquet'
black swan
shirley 'mother of perl'
cal. 'apricot chiffon'
herbs...
parsley leaved lovage
wild celery-parsley
pestle parsnip
i did a bunch more herbs, a few more flowers like bread edible poppies. i wanted to try veggies, but didn't have time.
and, i was really impressed with winter sowing this year. we had only a foot of snow in December, and that was it?! we're used to 7 to 8 feet! so i had to improvise and just put the containers on the back porch on the north side as trudi and others mentioned. they stayed and some are still staying there till they germinate, then they go into the greenhouse.
jo, some of those are your chia seed! they're coming along swell!

Thank you Bunkie and for the seed offer later.
My one and only attempt at winter sowing was not successful. Maybe I should not have chosen squash!
I am still interested in the method though and it obviously works nicely for flowers and herbs judging by your great seedlings.
