Ok, i will speak here of my projects the mosts crazy and problem meet in my garden and the solutions. We speak about of the gardening as an art wich all went good but rarely of thz problems possibles My garden has a big quantity of slug. Often, theyr could attack the little plant often cuting the plant before the cotyledons. Thats why i learnt the art of the bouturing and the grafting. For the moment i have bouturing 1 plant of tomato cuting before the cotyledon by a slug. My last objedctiv is to bouturing the squash maxima moschata and pepo. I put the plant damaged in a planter with a covert in plastic above for keeping the humidity. Can i bouturing all the plants? If it possible its could z good idea for save my plants after an attack of slugs.

If my squash of maxima that i have grafted failled, my next project is to boutured a moschata butternut and hybrided this with (justynka f1x green kokaido) or for conservated the fruit two-color green and orange i can hybrided one fruit with blu of hungary (recessiv) and a fruit more tall. My radish, cow peas , beans and lentil begin to germinate. the seed of peas fat but they not germinate. In a few day, we will have a little fresh blow with 2 nights at 11°C 51,8°F and 22°C 71,6°F the day. they will maybe germinate.

slugs can be dealt with by leaving flat boards on the ground near the plants you wish to protect. in the early morning get up and flip the boards over and smash the slugs and leave them for the birds to eat. keep repeating as often as needed.

Thanks you i will try your technical against the slugs! Today, i have did a seedling of parsley in a minigreenhouse at the shadow for keeping the humidity. Second seedling of watermelon that i will grow in greenhouse. For replace my plant of squash maxima (justynka f1 x green kokaido) eaten by the slugs, i will try to bouturing a moschata and create an interspecific crossbreeding with an other plant of (justynka f1 x green hokaido. I hesitate if my bouture will be the variety waltham or violino rugosa or i can try the twins if i found the place. With waltham i can got a little fruit under 1kg 2,2lbs. Your unity is the kg or the lbs? I see well violino rugosa with blue of hungary.

I try to did germinate a peas during the summer and to determinate why they not germinate when the weather is hot. After an experience under my mini greenhouse i think that the principal factor is not the t° but the humidity. I have put a thetmometer under the greenhouse. I have note 17°C in mini and 43°C in maxi. The greenhouse is behind a window. My peas are germinate under my greenhouse. I am between 50 and 60% of humidity at 30°C under my minigreenhouse.

even if you can get peas to sprout they may not grow very well if it is really hot outside. if i am trying to grow a second crop of peas i put them in about 65 days before the average first frost date, but my experience so far is that the 2nd crop isn't often worth the bother and i'm normally way too busy anyways. that all said, good luck!

For given fruit, the peas required a long days, and for grow he required a court days. I have not that they grow more tall at shadow than at at sunshine. The courts days add at a high t° increase the cellular elongation.

Ok i will try to put back my cutting of tomato under my mini greenhouse. She is not well at full air after an rootening. and i have no found why. Maybe an air a too dry or a root broken wich no feed the plant correctely. Its a seedling which he has been attack 2 times by a slug, one time after the gemination and the second times after have save the seedling with my first cutting. She is maybe damaged.
The better is that i begun back my seedling or i save my cutting a third times in covering the rod of soil?

when rooting cuttings i won't move it out of a protected spot until it starts showing new growth and then only gradually. it being the middle of summer can be a bit too much stress for a newly rooted cutting.

Today, a people as given a plant of zuchini at nude root in a water bucket. . I have planted this. Its very hard to start again a plant of zuchini at nude root. I have put a soil with mychoriz muschroom at the roots. I think at put a wintering veil for keeping the himidity at the leafs and regulare the t° and reduce the effect of the sunshine. I don't know if she has all her roots but i don't think this. After a big fight against the slug attacks, my cuting of tomato is died. I still of seeds. It was the variety orange banana. Its begin to be late for a new seedling even in full greenhouse. The last year, she begin to give fruit at the stage 9 leafs but she as freezing during the fruit formation. She has flowerig mid october for a seedling mid august. I have try to wintering this tomato last year but i have miss after a freez at -4°C. Or i saw this tomato in greenhouse znd when its too cold a did a cutting at home under a grow light, it's possible.
