pretty cold here some nights (down to -19C or more) and some windchills beyond. the next six to eight weeks can be pretty much anything but usually -10F is the worst, rarely -20F but that can happen. you get used to it.  |

sunny and cold, typical mid-winter. this morning -20C up to 20C today. enough snow on the ground to keep it covered. most of the big storms have gone south of us the past month.

Increassed Of the temperature for the next week.
Temperatures between -1°C 30,2°F and 4°C 39,2°F the night and between 5°C 41°F and 10°C 50°F the day.
We will have rain and wind.
No coldwave anonciated for february for this moment.

i think i typoed above, we sure didn't get to 20C that day. i probably meant 0C. recent weather warmed up today to 4.4C but that will be heading back to much colder the next few days. still it was nice to be able to melt some of the ice-snow. |

temperatures varying quite a lot this past week. i hope we don't have too early of a spring. those late frosts can do a lot of damage.

yellow warn wind. We have been three storm in one week Dudley, Eunice and Franklin. We pay the great sweetness of february. Low decreasse of the t° but they stay above 10°C the day. We wait frost period stared of march.

After a february month extremly sweet we wait frost up to -6°C 21,2°F for the end of february.
Always windy and rainy.
We have been up to 15°C 59°F in february the day and 10°C the night. It not normal temperatures.

the middle of May is around our usual last frost date. we plant our warm weather crops the end of May and into early June. peas can go in early to mid April. the weather here has been cold at night still below freezing, but the daytime temperatures and warming sun are melting off whatever snow cover we might get. the days getting longer and warmer also means the birdies are increasing their activity and noise. spring is coming. |
