we've had plenty of more rain and now the night time and day time cold temperatures are sometimes holding below freezing. this morning there was ice on the car.
some temperatures next week are called to go back above freezing. i'm hoping that i can get back outside for some more gardening work but i don't know when that might happen. we'll see... today was rainy, cloudy, cold. typical weather for this late in November.

the long squall line that caused many tornadoes in various USoA states also came through our area Saturday morning. it really did seem like tornado weather to me too with the wind changing around a lot and the pressure changes. the power went out for a day and a half but no damage locally that i noticed when we went out Sunday afternoon.

a few days after the power went out we had yet another storm go through MI which this time affected more of the northern part of the state. we didn't lose power this time but a lot of people further north than us were without power for several days. because the populations are more sparse and scattered it took more time to restore everyone. it also got colder for a bit, but we are now forecast to have chance of rain the day before and Christmas day itself with sunny the day after. all the next week we are forecast to be in the upper 30sF to mid 40sF for daytime highs and sometimes below freezing for the night temperatures. mixed rain and snow forecast sometimes. i'm sorry i don't speak French at all and links to other sites are blocked for some reasons, i don't know who puts the redirect on the links but it's rather icky.
i hope you and everyone else has a nice holiday season!

We made it to the low 70s F on Christmas day mostly sunny but some intermittent hard but brief rains, very odd. I don't recognize the weather anymore; guess that's just how it is now.
