we finally had a few rains. still could use a few more but this was better than nothing. temperatures going back and forth from mid-70sF to high 80sF. night time temperatures are sometimes going down as low as the high 40sF (which doesn't make the peppers very happy but everything else is doing ok).

Very dry even toward the atlantic ocean.

yes, it is much the same here in that we are warm and dry. some rains have helped for sure but we really could use a few more days of steady rains. in the meantime i'll be out watering as needed.
this week much of the days are forecast into the high 80sF or low 90sF. a few chances of rain but nothing for sure until i see it hit the ground.
gardens are doing well, projects are moving along slowly, it's that time of the year. i could go out and pick some beans and peas but i'm pretty sure i don't want to do that now... i moved a few wheelbarrows of rocks a while ago and that was enough for me.

Record of heat in region Bretagne in france at Brest up to 39°C.18°C above the normales of the season in this region with normaly an very oceanic climate.
In normal time the t° are very rarely above 25°C the summer.

A few lights rains after the heatwave.
Unfortunately the beans have some threads.
I have learn that the water of the mediterranean see is at 28°C 82,4°F in the south of the france.Probably not a good sign.A new record

last week was hot most of the week, not much rain, so we were heading into drought designation. yesterday and evening before we picked up about 4 inches of rain (about 12cm) and that all soaked in aleady. today is forecast to be moderate (78F) and sunny. so as soon as i can get going i'll be outside and getting things weeded that need going through. not too bad. should be a moderate week in temperatures.

Less hot,we have currently t° beetween 28°C 82,4°F and 31°C 87,8°F the day and 14°C 57,2°F and 17°C 62,6°F the night but its always dry, some trees started to lost their leafs and the grass is dry.
We wait again a heatwave the next week with t° up to 20°C 68°F the night and 36°C 96,8°F the day

mostly moderate to a bit warm here last week. this week we have warmer to hot tempertures in the forecast. a few chances of rain. today i'll water all the gardens to make sure there is enough moisture percolating down through the clay to keep all the plants happy enough until some rains come along. later this week we're forecast to get into the middle to upper 90sF so those days will be a challenge.

38°C 100,4°F today and 20°C 68°F the last night.Our water tank are empty.
Fortunately we have some thunderstorms this night with 10mm of water and 7mm tomorow a sum of 17mm.Not sufficient for fulling the water tank.
The nexts rains are anonciated begining september.
We have been 15mm of rain in Jully.
I think it will be a challenge to keep all in good health in the garden.
The grape begin to matured.
It was fall 255mm of rain since january.We have a deficiency of 33% of rains compare at a normal year.
Fortunately that we have had 100mm in june.
