after some seasons in my garden Canoncito is doing pretty well. It has become more precocious in flowering and ripening than in the last years. There were already the first fruit sets 3 weeks after planting. The plants remain very small compared to other types of peppers. In my garden they didn`t become heigher than 25cm (10inch). In the background there is a local outdoor sweet pepper variety. Much stronger in leaves and stems.

This is a bad year for direct seeded as well as volunteer tomatoes. I sowed in march. So far only around 10- 20 germinated. I found only 1 volunteer. All are very small. Last year I already had flowering plants around this time. I suspect it is the drought which harms them.

liseed website is still online. It is nearly 10 years that there is any outcome on their website. I heard rumours about it so I know there are probably not any longer in business. But who is paying for their website?

Okay. Your location is shown when I open your profil.
We don`t have helleborus net necrosis virus around here. But some other diseases especially nursery plants suffer from. It is kind of mold which let roots rot and causes the death of the plant. I have no idea what kind of disease it is. So I can`t tell if thibetanus is susceptical to helleborus net necrosis virus but wikipedia says all Helleborus are. Fingers crossed it doesn`t show up here.
There is fire blight around in Germany but I haven`t seen it.

I want to do another Okra trial this year. Therefor I am looking for genetically diverse seeds. Seeds I found online tend to be the same variety. Someone can share seeds? It doesn`t need to be your own landrace. I am just looking for seeds from as many sources as possible.
Thank you!

Do the direct seeded tomatoes ripen at the same time as the pregrown plants? Mine are later. Last year I could pick only a few fruits of them. The year before was much better.
