Okay, I'm a bit late, but here goes. Horror (mostly Steven King and Dean Koontz). Classic Rock (you know the stuff from the '60's and '70's--real classics) I like King and Koontz - my husband really loved the Dark Tower series, did you read that?
As for "real classics" - I've also seen Deep Purple, Yes, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Rush and Crosby Stills and Nash in concert - does that count in your book? ;D
(Oh and I've seen the 70's own Gordon Lightfoot - but he's not really rock, and I had to go by myself, because no one would go with me!)

Oh I love Pink Floyd, Eagles, Billy Joel, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, ELO.. I have gotten to see some really cool shows Floyd, Eagles, steely dan, ZZ Top, Nine Inch Nails, Monster Magnet and a ton more. And I did get to go to "woodstock 25" here in NY. I saw red hot chili peppers, CSN, Melissa Ethridge etc. I even went to see Arlo Guthrie with my BF & I liked it more than I thought. But I did know alot of the songs already.
My BF played in a bunch of bands. They would do all the clubs around NYC. He called one club to confirm their date. The guy tells him that he hopes they bring in fans who won't trash the bar "like the other nite". What band was it? Nirvana lol
LG, my friend mike LOVES the violent femmes. You'd be his dream girl. lol
