I always suspected that Zman was full of **it because he would never post pictures when asked. Surely a 'TV producer' has access to a digital camera?..
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, though. I've defended him a few times in the past for reasons of freedom of speech, but have since tired of his words...

I think zman is using another alias at Idig. Uprooted kentuckian who has become increasingly aggressive since zman left said he "didn't want to live in a hippie commune". The only one who ever talked about hippies was zman. This guy was way over the top in his attacks on bunkie. I really do think this zman.

LoreD,
I don't think Uprooted Kentuckian is Zebraman. His sentence structure, spelling, and writing style is way different. There are things that Zebraman does ... the way he writes his sentences ... that would be way too hard to change on a consistent basis. Anyway ... wherever Zebraman writes, he does so basically the exact same way, and I personally think he's too dumb to change it. (For example, he never puts a space between the period at the end of one sentence and the upper case first letter at the beginning of the next sentence.)
As far as the 'hippie commune' comment, it was made as a balancing point in the sentence ... that he didn't want to live in a rightwing Christian theocracy or a hippie commune. If it had been Zebraman, he would've just reviled hippies with some hateful remark.
JMO, and you are entitled to yours, but apparently, Zebraman holds himself in such unfounded high esteem that he is "punishing" IDig for booting him. Thank goodness!!!

Well, he can keep on punishing everybody at all of the forums in which he has been banned.
Even if he isn't zman, he is a troll looking for a flame war.

Heh. I agree w/ Bill. Zman has one writing style and that's all he/she wrote. Even with the Frances May character's posts, he still had to come in with a "hey guys" type of entrance. He does it with Fridom Snowbird's posts on another site, as well. All Z wants is attention and the easiest way to get it is to piss people off. LoreD, I think that UK is just one of those far right fundies who is sooo certain that he's correct that he refuses to see any other side. That's what I've gathered from what I've read of his posts, at any rate. He seems intelligent enough, but he's definitely being dishonest when he talks about uniting left and right in one breath and then blaming liberalism (gay marriage loving, military hating blahblahblah americans: ) for the downfall of society in the next.

Oh and just for the record, bhpigeon2, even though he can at times come across as being a bit overbearing, DOES apologize when he's made an error. I know. Because I thought he was an alias for Z at one point (not realizing he was Paquebot who I actually esteem) and caught him on something from the SSE catalog. Martin was quick to apologize to me for his error and then explained what he meant to me. Z won't even give me the time of day. And another thing... Fridom Snowbird... Snowbird is a nickname for Canadians who spend their winters down south. He always promised Nutter (another Cdn), lots of seeds. To my knowledge, she never ever received anything from him. Then once she left iDig.. He did the same to me... Perhaps he is an expatriated Canadian? Or maybe he's been hurt by someone who is Canadian and we were his way of retaliating? Let me see. Who is a Scientologist and once lived in Canada?

I also thought BHP2 was Z for a while but thought better of it later, once I noticed decency in his posts. It's funny how abrupt, opinionated gardeners get mistaken for Z by numerous people with no collaboration whatsoever. I, like others have said, also suspected gridgardener for a short time. I don't remember what changed my mind about him. Here in the states, we call New Yorkers and other "yankees" that move to Florida snowbirds, as well, but you may be onto something there, Blue. I'm sure that someone as "conservative" as Z hates Canadians on principal as they are obviously all "socialists". Wasn't it Z who asked if you still took money in Canada? Also, Fridom Snowbird actually is listed as owner of record for a property in Venice Beach, CA, not far from the Widder residence. Can one purchase property under an alias there or did some awful parent actually give their child that horrible moniker? Z has knitted (heh) quite the web of mystery around his gardening alias's. Why one would spend so much time hiding their identity just to be a jackass on gardening forums is beyond me but I suspect it has something to do with impotence (not just sexual, but mostly) and feelings of rejection going all the way back to childhood. Not that this excuses his deplorable behavior but it makes me feel better, at least. After having been on all sorts of internet forums over the years, I've come to the conclusion that there are posters who exist simply to antagonize whomever they can. Most times, I think that these posters don't even hold their purported stances in real life. They act like caricatures of extremists simply to get a rise out of normal, happy folks. Maybe that's just me being naive and hopeful about our futures but I think there's something to my theory. I can not imagine anyone like Z existing in real life, nor do I want to. If you actually prove his existence, I'll shove my index fingers in my ears and chant "lalalalala i can't hear you lalalalala". That's because I am super mature and totally grounded in reality.

[Wasn't it Z who asked if you still took money in Canada?]
No, that wasn't Z. That was someone else. Someone who is very busy with their life and seed trading.. I've since found what I had asked for in return for what I had sent him...And I'm going to let that chapter close...I think they just have so much going on that they simply forgot me..

BLRH, remember when I tried to send seeds to Nutter Butter? It got sent back (Unknown reason according to the USPS) and it was opened. I think it has to do with her. Things I send to you get there just fine.
According to Zman, he is from Texas. He mentioned that he already bought acreage there for his retirement home.(Good Luck, Texans!) You can tell that he does not respect women at all. Read any of his comments about going to hollywood parties where all the women are "fake".

I was just over at Idig and saw zman looking around. Homesteadingtoday seemed to be cracking down on him so he might be looking for a place to come back.

What is interesting is that he has stopped posting at HomesteadingToday. His last post was about 10 days ago. I don't think they appreciated the parenting advice on the Homeschooling forum. Also, he doesn't just knit, he basketweaves and does gold and silver leaf gilding. Who knew that he was so crafty.

You know ... I think if there was a turd polishing forum somewhere on the Internet ... Zebraman would be there tellin' folks how he polishes the biggest and brightest turds.
