The last few days, the sky has been blue in the Bay Area, much better; 'sposed to get hot again, which will exasperate the remaining fires.

Unlike last year, we did have some days of average, even very nice days, this year but it still has been hot and humid, or notably below average on average.
Right now we are 20 degrees below average but next week to return to nice average weather.
Still need rain as it is good to go into winter with soil that is too wet verses overly dry.

we had a pretty good hail storm the other day, enough that the ground looked like it had snowed. cold overnight now down close to freezing again for a few nights. fall is coming on...

A lot of rain this weeks but the t° are sweets.
A fex butternuts are explosed with thr rain.

we've had pretty nice weather recently with sunshine and cool enough temperatures to work pretty hard outside (mid-60s to mid-70s F). i'm also trying to get some wood fireplace ashes mixed in some garden patches and with the winds that has not been easy to finish off. today i'm just going to do it anyways, wind or not, i'll just wrap a scarf/mask around my face and get it done.
