Truth is stranger than fiction. This is an actual post on Craigslist today: dress a horse up like a unicorn!? Help!!! I've been trying for weeks!!! My daughter has gotten toy unicorns for a couple years now on special occassions.. this year she's asked for a REAL one. I don't want to tell her they aren't real at age 5. Especially with how much she loves them. We are from Henryetta. IS THERE ANYONE WITH A HORSE THAT WILL DRESS IT UP LIKE A UNICORN AND INTRODUCE IT TO MY BABY GIRL AS A UNICORN??? Let her pet it, take pics with it, maybe even sit on it? I want her to grow knowing dreams can come true and nothing is impossible. If anyone can help, please let me know!! it will mean the world to my little girl.

The city is Henryetta. You may consider that as a name for your next daughter. Henryetta is south of Okmulgee, Schulter and Dewar. It is north of McAlester, Vernon, Hanna, Dustin and Indianola. Is is east of Okema, Pharoah and Clearview. It is west of Checota, Pierce and Salem. Other nearby towns are Weleetka, Wetumka, Hitchita, Okfuskee and Slick.

Absolutely. Let's do away with all childhood fantasy. (Psst, let's not talk about adult fantasy, nudge, nudge, wink, wink). I often wonder about the reality I see. I must confess that it sometimes makes me take refuge in child-like fantasy.

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.
'In honor of this holy season' Saint Peter said, 'You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven.'
The Englishman fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. 'It's a candle', he said.
'You may pass through the pearly gates' Saint Peter said.
The Scotsman reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, 'They're bells.'
Saint Peter said 'You may pass through the pearly gates'.
The Irishman started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.
St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, 'And just what do those symbolize?'
The paddy replied, 'These are Carols.'
And So The Christmas Season Begins......

Love it. Can't wait to show it to my 7 year old granddaughter that gardens with me.

Cute, but I wonder if it's sending the wrong message. Given the amount of abuse perpetrated on the concept of "organic" by big agribusiness, I'm wondering if this could be interpreted as being nothing more than corporate "greenwashing", trying to perpetuate the myth that doing something"orginic" = doing it "right" (or more accurately that using orgainic methods is all that needs to be done to make growing things as wholesome an activity as it can be, no further corrections needed.) My REALLY cyncical side also takes issue at the chorus statement that organic is "Mother Natures Brand" (no, "Mother Natures Brand" is whatever was naturally growning and/or living on the spot before you came it and dug it up to farm or garden in the first place!). But take that last bit with a grain or two of salt, it is psychopathically cynical me who is saying it!
